Great! Now if only the nearest EDACS system wasn't 500+ miles away lol

Atleast its a nice coversation piece or bargaining chip for a trade, i bet it would make a real nice reciever, now if only it did SmartZone

Are you guys sure this won't do EDACS? When I turn it on, it displays a channel/talkgroup name for a second and goes into "CC Scan" which I thaught was indicative of EDACS trunking. On the back of the radio, underneath the battery it says: Ericsson Inc. KRD 103 124/A1 R1A (serial#) Canada:...

It looks like I'm stuck with a useless brick (a pretty one though)...lol

I think Cowboy must have mixed up the IPE with the LPE which is a totally different beast.

Is there anything neat/nerdy that one could do with one of these, besides let it rot in a box?

Ericsson IPE

Just picked up (what I believe) is a Ericsson IPE-200 800MHz EDACS radio. Firstly, Motorola is my bag, I know nothing about Ericsson and even less about EDACS trunking :D

So, the question of the day is.....Can this do conventional channels?

Midland Mobile ID Help

I got a Midland Mobile, it has a yellowish front, a 2 position channel switch (goes up or down), 2 black knobs for volume and squelch, crystal controlled, a red led for tx, a green led for rx, both on the front, PL259 antenna connector, 4 pin mic connector, black metal case.

Anyone got a name?

Bill, do you mind giving up the secrets to moding these units for greater bandwidth? I'd love to know how to do that. Bill, how far do you think it can go out of band? I was going to take it to my friend and give one a good alignment and see if I could get it down to 144-147 MHz....It will accept p...

Thank You! Got it going last night,...it didn't seem like it was working at first but some of the old flex connectors are getting up there in age which makes the keypad work/not work depending on the postion of the flex, but i fixed that and she's going good. I can't figure out how to change the rad...

Regency H256B Programming

I need help getting my old H256B into programming mode....on another site it says you find Pin J-401 and short it (which I presume means you ground). So I ground it, attach the power supply and I attempt to go into programming mode by pushing "Pro Prio" and "10". This is where th...
