Re: Midland 70-1052a Info

Saw one on ebay a short time back, which went for over $100. It's an adapter that fits into the 70-1000 programmer so you'd need to have the programmer in addition to the 70-1052a adapter. cheers, skipp skipp025 at yahoo.com [quote="bdb"]Hello, I picked up a bunch of portables today that r...

Re: TK-3180 below 450?

The tk-3180 works killer well into the ham bands. I've got my demo 3180 radio on a 440 low end repeater and a 493 commercial box and it works just great. Enjoy the radio... I've been selling them like crazy... cheers, skipp skipp025 at yahoo.com [quote="Boomer740"]Hi everyone. My company j...

Some of the after market cables have ground wire problems and missing pins in the universal plug. Are you using an original Kenwood Programming cable? cheers, skipp [quote="n3obl"]Trying to program a tk-3180 with the same cable i use for a 3140. Using ver 1.10 software and it will say prog...

Re: TK880 Version 2

By serial number, by the boot up message if programmed to display the version number at power up, by the colored triangle and by reading the version number in software. As a Kenwood Dealer, I have firmware flash upgrades for the tk-880 and tk-780... actually for all Kenwood radios. You local Kenwood...
