I had a customer who jump starts other vehicles and blows that fuse. Also have had the .5 Amp one blown. I had to substitute the 1.8 to a 2 Amp fuse. Luckily, the blown fuse was the only problem in the radio.

Switch out the front panel to a KCH-10 and change the PF (Programmable Function) key settings if necessary.

A Simple Fix

There are 2 chassis mounted rectifiers CR101,102 (1N1184A)(crosses to a NTE5982) which could be shorted out. As Oldford said, also check CR1,CR2 the square pseudo-bridge as I call it, for shorts.
