Re: Totally lost.

2 meter, 10 meter, and 70cm and similar are references to the wave length of the frequency ranges. The wave length would be from the top of one sine wave crest to the top of the next of the frequency range. Any RF energy is a sine wave and actually a form of AC RF energy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

JetStream JT270M Software

Well - I actually did it! I was skeptical cause i am not a fan of these chinese radios. I loaded up the programming software on my desktop with windows 7 and when attempting to start the software it asks me for a user name and password. I looked around the common files and see no text files that wou...

Re: Crescend Technologies UHF Amp

Not 100% sure but in 1999 there was a series of buyouts and acquasitions that lasted
until about 2005 and somewhere along the line Crescend became Powerwave Technologies, Inc.

Re: GE Mastr II base station

You may have a GE MastrII E Base Station that had its own controller mounted on the back in a horizontal manner. Try one of the below websites. Hope that helps. http://hallelectronics.com/getech/b31.htm http://hallelectronics.com/getech/select_search.php3 http://www.repeater-builder.com/rbtip/geinde...

Suggestion: Catagory for DX Radio Systems

I could not help but notice there is no catagory for DX Radio Systems. They are a pretty good company and offer many types a RF commercial communications radio equipment and the engineering to get started and support. Some of this equipment is starting to show up online on a few of the ham radio and...

Re: IC F60V programming

Been working on radios for 18 years. This ICOM got me stumped. Scan edit is enabled. so how do you edit the scan list?? If our guys have the buttons locked, which a soft key is set up to do, when paged, they have to turn it off, then back on to get out of the lock. did I miss something there?? And ...

Re: VXR-9000U Reference Freq Adjust

Hi, I have a VXR-9000 UHF. But I don't get it running in the UHF Ham Band (430-440). The frequencies should be RX 431.350 and TX 438.950. The TX Unit works fine. But the problem is in the RX unit. The lowest frequency I can program is 435.400 MHz. If I set the RX QRG any lower, the receiver doesn't...

Re: voltage ft-1500m

Sorry if that was unclear. If I have the truck running, then press the power button to turn on the radio (ft-1500m), For a moment (a second or two) the screen on the radio shows the amount of voltage it is receiving at that moment. Usually around 13.1 to 13.4. Sounds to me from what your saying is ...
