Not very familiar with Vertex, but I'm looking to see if anyone knows what error-2 on the screen means. What would be the fix.

I don't know, but I doubt it would work as the features are different.

I had the same problem a while back and was told that if you are using the Windows version, like Edacs 4 Programmer, you can just create the codeplug in the software and then program it into the radio. It worked just fine for me doing it this way and does not affect the newer features in the radio.

I just picked one up a couple weeks ago on eBay for $125.00 with a charger and 2 batteries. It's a real good sounding radio on receive and seems to have good sensitivity. It uses the same charger and batteries as the LPE-200 radios.

Does anyone have the part number for the front label on the newer style LPE-200 radios, LPE-200 M/A-Com, style label?

I just obtained an 800 LPE-200 Edacs radio which I am not too familiar with. I have the software and was able to program the radio one time. I am now not able to get it into the programming mode by holding the PTT and Monitor button down when powering up. Does anyone know what would cause this or ho...
