I want to reprogram a TKR-720 Repeater. I need to know what cable will work besides a KPT-50 Standalone programmer. Will a KPG-4 cable work? Any info will help.. Thanks...

Provoice programming in the Orion Mobile
Anyone know how to program the provoice option in an orion mobile? When I program it, I go to the channel and it tells me DIGV ERR I do not know if I do not have it programmed right or not, anyone have any info?

I assume you have installed hex workshop on your computer or have you downloaded it and have no clue is to where it downloaded it to? I assume someone already has done this, I found out a way to program an orion out of band with the dos software. I am using hex workshop, what I do is create a split of special. I then program the freq's I want into it, I then save it under special, from there I read the radio or create a new person...

Dont give up yet. Do you have audio? if so is it very low and you can not turn it up? The process is easy, remove the RF deck on the MPA, then once you have done that, Remove the Shield off of the RF deck. Look to the lower left of the RF deck and you will see a screw pot in there.
