Doug,
I had a similiar problem with an original ICOM 706. I found that by cleaning the contacts of the removable
head unit the problem stopped. It drove me nuts for a while.

Th-77 low audio problem - need help or a service manual
Does anyone know how to tweak the audio on a Kenwood TH-77 HT? Mine is about half what a normal
TH-77 is. I have two other TH-77's to compare it to. Does anyone have a service manual to
download?
Thanks.

Microphone options for a Kenwood TK840 - Help!
I have a great Kenwood TK840 that has a factory microphone that is big enough and
heavy enough to be used as a weapon or a paperweight. Can someone suggest a lighter
weight replacement or one that can be modified to use with this radio? Is a KMC30
usable with the original TK840 6 pin cable?
Thanks.
