Re: VX-4207 Ignition Sense
In the software, under Common and DSUB-15, your ACC I/O Port 1 Input is programmed for Ignition. change it to none (or any other option) and you will not need to have 12V on this input to power up the radio.

Re: VXR-9000U Reference Freq Adjust
VERTEX intentionnaly omitted to install some componants on the RF board and this is why frequency can`t be tuned on the VXR-9000 V and U.

Re: Programming VX-160
Usually the problem comes from the USB to serial converter built into the cable wich is not 100% reliable. Using a serial interface cable on a computer wich does have a serial com port or using the VERTEX FIF-10 USB interface cable would work fine. You could also try to checkmark the FIF-10 field un...

Re: interfacing controller to VXR-9000u
I am pretty sure (but not 100%) it will. You will have to put a checkmark in the "Req" field if you don`t want it to send the ID when the transmitter is not activated for a time exeeding the one programmed in the "Int T" field.

Re: interfacing controller to VXR-9000u
The VXR-9000 could be programmed for base or repeat mode but you will need to program one of the function key for remote toggle. Once this key is pressed, the internal controller is disabled and the VXR-9000 is controlled by anything hooked to the accessory connector . You should also program the st...

Re: VX-2200 programming
Click on Channel (on the top of the main screen) then on Channel Allocations/Group Alpha Tag to create the other groups needed. These new groups will then become available in the group field of the main screen. The radio should not go into dual watch mode unless you press on a key already programmed...

Re: VX-924 "Channel Step Mismatch" error while programming
Even if you get the "alignment data not defect" message, you should accept to restore to the factory default. Very often, the software does not see that there is corrupted data. There are no issues when the ce59 is used with the differents operating systems but I saw some issues when used ...

Re: VX-924 "Channel Step Mismatch" error while programming
It looks like the radio still got corrupted data (PLL reference frequency this time). If you are using a USB to serial converter between the computer and the programming interface, this might cause the problem. I would try the adjustment recover and reprogramming the radio with the default file but ...

Re: VX-924 "Channel Step Mismatch" error while programming
It looks like the data (IF frequency) sent to the radio got corrupted.
You should be able to correct it by performing the Adjustment Recover under the Radio tab.
