question about TK840 software
While I'm waiting to get the TK840 I won on e-bay, I'm playing around with the software to start getting the channels set up the way I want. This is my first experience with Kenwood software, so there are a few things I'm not sure about. In the conventional mode, does this radio only have 32 channel...

Can I use S990 head without having it programmed?
OK, I've got a low band Delta that is currently programmed for 16 channels on the 6 meter ham band. The control head that is connected to it is a S600 (only 8 channels). I also have the complete S990 control group (which I got after having the Delta programmed). The question is this, can I connect t...

Question about programming a Delta EEPROM
 OK all you GE Delta experts, here's a question about progromming an EEPROM for the GE Delta. Is it absolutely necessary to use the GE suitcase programmer to do this? The reason I ask is that we have a BP Microsystems programmer here at work that I use to program PROMS and EEPROMS for the prod...

Need schematic for S600 control head
![:gojerry:](./images/smilies/gojerry.gif)
Hi All,
I need a schematic for the GE S600 contol head, specifically the 8 channel
head used with the GE Delta, C4A108. If you've got one laying around
that you can copy or scan and e-mail, let me know.
thanks,

Re: U400
So I can get the wider range from 440 to 512 mhz that the radio used to have before it went haywire and I had to clone from a 450 to 486 range radio which restrictricts the frequency range. The U16 has the wider range capabilities. I don't think the U-400 had a range of 440-512 mhz, it was only 440...

I found a place that had some of these new in the

I have also rechecked the previous ebay name and noticed it is now an unregisterd name. One might h...

It looks great...but I had to do a double take, thought I went to the

Keep up the good work.
