I bought a tkr-820 and plan on puting it up on GMRS. Since this repeater is only a 25w I was thinking of getting a amp to run it a 50w. This will be my first repeater so I am looking for some info of what would be a good amp for this. Thanks

I have a tk 840 that will not turn off. I did take the radio apart and clean all of the contacts on the board and still no luck. Anyone else have this problem?

you didn't mess with the tune apart of the radio did you? did you try to start with a new codeplug and write that into the radio?

I have a buddie at work that has a tk 280 that he uses for work at our FD. He asked me tonite if you can get a 1/4 wave antenna for it. I have found them online at antenex but my question is should I order it with a BNC connector for this radio and get the adapter for it or should I get the threaded...
