Re: TK762G (8 ch) powering off problem
Yeah,
My only thoughts were it must be a bad cap. I have some TK930's that had a bad
SMD transistor that would keep them from powering up - just jumpered them and had to
pull them power cord off. I suppose I will get my magnifier out...

I have lots of GE M/A-COM manuals, but not this one...
MM101984V1 Hand Held Controller Installation Manual
That manual should have those cables with fancy diagrams and pinouts...

TK762G (8 ch) powering off problem
Going to sell this radio to a local FF only to find out it is defective when changing the programming. The radio will power on then power off after only a few seconds or so - or it will power up fine until 12v is removed. Seems to need to have 12v removed for about 30 seconds before it will successf...

Re: S825 Control Head Audio Amp failure?
I'll give that a shot. Any other suggestions? Is the audio PA located in the RF deck or the control head? Any details on its replacement? Audio PA is in the control head. "U13" Linear: Low Voltage Audio Power Amplifier; similar to National LM386N - 4. Amp is on the INPUT/OUTPUT BOARD 19D9...

Re: Midland 70-1544B Programing?
Anybody out there know anything about reprogramming a Titan UHF radio?? Do these require an UV light to wipe the EPROM? Are the programming cables ridiculously hard to find everywhere else in the US? (I'm in KY, nothing here, at least nobody claims to have anything of the sort.) Any help or guidanc...

Need mic pinout for Relm SM series
Looking for the Relm Micro-Com SM series radio mic pinout.
Trying to help a vol fire guy with a bad mic - I'd rather throw the radio away where it belongs (in the dumpster)
but I guess that's not an option......
I think I have it close, but I would rather verify with someone who knows for sure......

Re: 900MHz M-RK
I am unaware of any mods for the 900Mhz MRK to the hamband. The Orion has recently been mastered, but I don't know where to see the mods for it. The YAHOO Group "GE" is probably the place to find out about both... Or "AR902Mhz" Motorola 900 GTX portable is the cheap way to go for...
