Re: TKB-720 Pin 13

On the TKR repeater, that pin is tied to an internal squelch or tone squelch and it goes active low.
I can't remember if the TKB has this internal board.

Re: Kenwood techs in here please..... TK-760G

With the computer....are you using DOS or at the very least win98 restarted in DOS mode?
Also,I may have a junker with a good front panel if need be.

Re: Kenwood techs in here please..... TK-760G

If you have a schematic....go backwards from the mic jack looking for an open A+ trace, locate then jump with small wire, problem fixed.
I've been there too many times!

Re: Kenwood techs in here please..... TK-760G

Just thinking....are you trying to program via the front panel instead of the computer?
If so,try using the power supply as the on/off switch. hold down button and turn on the PS.

Re: Kenwood techs in here please..... TK-760G

I suspect the A+ at the mic jack has gone south.....needed for programming.
Common problem with that model.

Re: Two TK-630H with same control head....

It's been awhile, but doesn't it require you to designate radio 1 and radio 2? If so,it should work.

CE60 factory mode info!

Put a space-f after CE60exe,it asks for a password,enter ANSHO-BANGO and you got it!
Here you could tell your radio it's a different split and write it to your radio, alignment may be nessessary if you need freqs far away from the original split.

Re: CE99 progress

New progress.... Reading through CE99 in Hex Workshop,I found a few sentences about manufacture mode. So if you put space-s after ce99exe,it asks for a password. Anyway,if you enter the wrong password or no password.ce99 starts up in regular mode. If you enter tokusyu-bango,ce99(S) starts up,so I kn...

VX 231 Firmware version 2.0 needed

Anyone have it? This is the 5 tone firmware for the exported radios.
I had a Vertex dealer friend try, they said it wasn't available to US dealers.

Re: CE99 dealer mode?

Yes,I used the space-d.
The CE60 has a dealer and a factory mode up at the top,the CE99 doesn't.
