FT-8100

Post by Doug »

Hello to the board,
I've got my hands on one of these small (disasters) I received it in a partial trade knowing it was in need of repair with one of the volume controls. My question to the rank and file is can someone give me some insight as to how to reset the micro processor. I've tried several different combinations while powering up the radio with no luck. I haven't played with Yaesu equipment in ages and since my last one about 12 years ago they've somewhat changed.

Resetting this radio.

:D Hey, up! Here is how you reset the microprocessor (assuming you still need this info. ) Press and hold in the VFO/MR and the REV keys while you push the PWR key. That should do it!
