Newbie question about Kenwood TK2300

Post by Shoo »

Someone gave me a Kenwood TK-2300 to use. I need to be able to access the blue and green dot channels, 154.57 and 154.6. Can this 4 channel radio be programmed for those two channels and if so, how? Thanks in advance.

You need software KPG-120D to program it and cable KPG-22 to connect the radio to the computer. Might be best to take it to a Kenwood dealer or shop and pay a few bucks to have it done.

If you are so inclined the cable can be found on Ebay for under $10.00. Google KPG-120D and you can find sources to buy the software.
