Request a decode for a 5100 radio, 242-5113-310-B12 (or BI2)? I would like to see if it supports P25 conventional and analog. FPP would be great as well.
Also the version is 2.8.15. Is this the latest Firmware Version?
Thanks,

Okay IS, here's a new one for you.

Model number: 242-5326-206SFCB4

I'm really hoping this is/can be made P25 compatable.

That last part of the model number will be a two letter code. B12 doesn't work out. This is the part that tells me what options the radio will have.

Hello,

New the the wacky world of EF Johnson 5100 Series radios... I'd like a decode of the following radio please (I searched and read that the 888 prefix apparently means demo radio ?) What I'm puzzled with is the radio is in the heavy case/chassis marked 5100, but the decode of a similar number said 51SL X chassis radio ? Changed out case or ? on this one ... although I see several orthers having posted a 5100 with that same first 7 number string.

242-5213-888

Thank you,

Mike

The last digits could be "BI2" as in B "eye" 2. I hope this makes more sense. That is all I can read off of the radio.

Many thanks, Will
I asked the EFJ website what version PCC that I would need for the 242.5113.310-BF4 / 4.10.11 and the reply was 2.6.9
I found a 2.6.11 that worked.

What they are capable of would be better found by simply reading the radio but this is how the model #'s break down.

My manuals are a little dated so if anyone has additional info to add.....

I made a mistake here "HA" refers to installed options
