5100 pre mdc1200 on ch's

I have pre id enabled on ch's hwoever it seems like it doesnt work.. If i key up.. nothing however if i let ff then rekey real quick it works... After few it does same again..

Ok i dont know what i did.. but now i get part of the id coming out on another scanner when listening..

However if i use post id it works fine.. I need to get pre-id working as that what my county specifies for id's

What version of firmware is in the radio. I'll play with mine and see if I can see what is going on or duplicate. I don't use MDC very often.

Sorry for taking so long to get back on this one.

I tested my radios with version 4.10.11 and did not have any issues. I also tested with the latest 4.12.5 without issue on PRE or POST MDC operation.
It could be that your scanner cannot decode fast enough at the beginning of the call, therefore you could put an intial delay before Tx'ing the MDC.
Againg pure speculation there, but my radios did not exhibit the same issue you are reporting.
