EF Johnson 5100 and Motorola Astro 25 don't talk problem

Post by 242Radioman »

In conventional mode on both radio's, frequency/NAC are the same, but they don't talk (no audio, but lights up when the other is keyed). I'm sure it's just a codeplug/programming issue, but I can't figure it out. Can anybody help me with this?

I am 99% sure it is because MOT by default doesn't use talkgroups in Digital conv mode, whereas EFJ defaults to talkgroup 1. Change the EFJ radio to use TG 65535 (FFFF Hex) and I am sure it will work fine.
