MPA scan 800mhz programing woes

Post by wanabe159 »

Hi all--I just got my programing cable from Price Ind. and ready to fire up the laptop and program my MPA scan 800mhz My question is , do I have the right programs to do this, M-PAv12 ,or mpa ver 11.1 ? And if not, would someone be able to point me in the right direction? TIA Will

I don't know if you ever got an answer for this but you will need Programmer from MaCom or the old DOS versions would be called EDACS, for this radio.

I believe the MPA 11.1 and 12 allow conventional programming only. edacs1.exe is the DOS version to program EDACS.

Did you also buy the P96-A from Price industries, or do you already have the RIB to go with the cable?
Analog already is interoperable.
