two radios to one antenna question

Post by firedog359 »

Hello all, I am a volunteer firefighter her in NC and I currently have a VHF high band M/A-Com KMC-300 installed in my truck. I also have a UHF KMC-100 that I want to install for use in my full time job in public safety and communications at our local hospital. I have seen dual band mobile antennas that will work with this but I just don't know how to hook both radios to one antenna. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Read about a Comet CF-416A duplexer. I have seen these used for two radios. Also get a dual band antenna like a Larsen.
