help with ic-f4gs

i have a uhf f4gs and need to take it apart. cant seem to get that ring nut loose that is on the antenna connector. has anyone been able to get this to come off? its the only thing stopping me.

ICOM sells a tool that does that, but you should be able to find something that would work. I have used a good set if tweasers, with a screwdriver.
