tk-7180 cross band

Has anyone been able to cross band tk-8180 or 7180 together. tried a couple ways can get the radios to key each other up no luck passing audio any ideas.

Yep,

Make sure that pin # 17 of the DB-25 on the receiving radio (filtered audio) connects to pin #6 of the DB25 of the transmitting radio (mic hi). The audio may be a little hot and you may need to pad it with a resistor or potentiometer. Works great.

If you are looking for a bidirectional repeater you would nee two of these.

I have used them and they work well
