Greetings:
I picked up a FlightCom 4DX headset at a garage sale over the weekend and now want to make a interface and use it with a TK-250, TK2180. First I would like to know if the equipment is compatable, and can someone please help me with a design? My guess is a project box w/ two phono plugs, a PTT switch, and then the coiled cable going into the portable radio. I understand that I will have to do this twice since the radios have different connectors for the speaker/mic.

Sounds like a worthy project.
This PDF from Bose shows the pinouts for the plug.

I think the only issue would be whether or not the mic is compatible with the radio.
I did something similar with a Gentex SPH5 helmet and an ICOM IC-A3 air band radio and it worked great.
