Is there any Kenwood made, or homemade way to cross band repeat the x30 series radios? I know most of what I need is in the accessory port, and I have tons of plugs, and pins. The only problem I can think of is that the COR of one radio is high, and the PTT is low on the other.

I do have a bit of experience with the accessory port as I have a TK-730 set up for APRS with a Tiny Trak 3 plus.

I built a dual bander awhile back and have tinkered with a bunch of 830's. Never heard of a cross band repeater. Be a cool project though.

I'm going to go with a unit that Pyramid Communications makes. SVR-200 is the model number.

Are you still looking to X-band with x30's? I'm running a 790/890 in X-band repeat thru the rear DB25 connectors.
