TK-630 Manual needed

Post by kb4mdz »

In need of service manual for a TK-630; this radio laughs at me when I try to go above 50 MHz.

If you have a pdf, that'd be great. If you have just real paper, I'll pay postage both ways, and return a pdf with it.

Thanks,

I have a TK-630, but sadly no manual. It does work just fine on 6 meters though. Which band split do you have?

Top split, so that it will go into 6. Unfortunately, someone before me thought it would be better down in the CB free-band area, and weirded around inside the PA, and spread open the coils, and soldered the power set pot to wide open, (It was quite surprising to put it on the bench & have it do close to 150 watts!! That got fixed real fast...)

Yikes, you have your work cut out for you. I googled around as I'm sure you have and found nothing.
