GE Rangr S-825 S-820 question

Post by motgeradios »

I have a GE Rangr and a S-820 control head. Is the head the same as a S-825? Can I use the same software and cable as an S-825 head? Also can the S-820 head be used on delta sx radios (maybe to program them like on a Rangr)? I'm new to GE and would really appreciate the help. Thanks

YES... is the answer to all of the above! 8)

S820-825-830 all use the same software, same control cable & can program Rangr & Delta S/SX radios to be used with other heads like the S550.

Ken,

Is there any chance you have the wiring info on the program cable for the S825 heads? I have one around here that I made about 14 years ago, but now can't find it.
