I have an oddball mpa here, the combination on the back is PG9MWX. Does anyone know which software programs it???

Anybody??? Someone else out there has to have programmed a MPA-NET 900!?!?

That radio requires software pkg. TQ3347 which is used to program the 900 MHZ only models of the following radios: MPA 900, the MTL 900 or the MTL GE NET 900 radios. It is sometimes refered to as GE NET 900 software or something similar. I have never seen it nor used it so I don't know if there is another newer software pkg available. I'm not sure if any of the EDACS 1 2 or 3 software packages will work either. I have just hamflashed the 900 MHz MPAs or MTLs and used them this way.

hello mike sounds like you have played with a few of these mpa's i have one thats currently on the edac's trunking system thats in the province . i'd like to know what i can do with this radio as i'm not using it for trunked radio any more any info or links would be greatly appreciated thanks Jhook

Hamflash for the 900 M-PA will only do the old 12Mhz split, with major hardware mods required. What I did (to the 900 M-PA that I got from you)
is EDACS flash it and use Doug Bade's modified edacs software to program 25 mhz split ham stuff. No hardware mods required.
