TK-730HG

Post by TCINWV »

I have a TK-730HG that was half of a single delux head, dual band, TK-630H andTK-730HG combo. What do I need to do to the 730 to convert it back to remote head with single rf deck? Is there anywhere to view photos that show details? Thanks for looking, any help appreciated. TOM

Remove the second radio...use your cable on radio one side, then write a program for a single radio with the correct control head and the correct chanels, then dump it in,when it says model type mismatch, ignore and procede.

The 630 was first radio from head then over to 730. If I move 730 over to
where 630 was and hook direct to head then reprogram, is that all there is
to it ?? A supposed Kenwood tech told me you had to move jumpers inside 730
since it was radio #2, was he just blowin smoke to get me to pay him?
