TK-630H Under voltage

Post by ve3wpj »

Ok just another observation after workign with the radio last night.

if I have it plugged into my rigrunner once I key up it sets the rig runner into an undervoltage for a quick instant. and resets the other gear only a few amps on the rigrunner.

powersupply is an alinco 330 and seems to handle the other current fine for my HF gear running 200W

I also notice just a little but oh humm or noise in the power supply while transmitting, RF going down the DC lines maybe?

It is very hard to get a 1 to 1 vswr on a lowband antenna, this usually indicates an antenna or feedline problem.Test the antenna with a wattmeter and the 110 watt kenwood to be sure.
