Hello,
I picked up a bunch of portables today that require a 70-1052a interface. Does anyone have a schematic of this beast or a programmer for sale ?
Thanks !

Re: Midland 70-1052a Info
Saw one on ebay a short time back, which went for over $100. It's an adapter
that fits into the 70-1000 programmer so you'd need to have the programmer
in addition to the 70-1052a adapter.
cheers,

The 70-1052A is a PC interface for the 70-045 / 70-065 / 70-165 / 70-265 / 70-166 / 70-266 portables. I have one I will be putting on ebay in the next several days.
I think Skip is thinking about the 70-1072 adapter which is used to program the 8 ch Syn Tech I radios using the 70-1000 programmer.

70-1052
I have a second hand Midland 70-265. It seems to be working OK, but I can not switch channel.
It seems a programming limitation. I'd like to try reprogram in a legal band, bur I have no information about the interface cable not the program needed.
Can enybody send me information about the 1052 interface (al least pinout) and which program do I need?
Thanks in advance
Manel
