The Radio Information Board

Hello,

I am setting up a vx-920 in VHF for a volunteer FF. I want to have the radio setup on one channel for off duty 2 tone paging on his depts tones.

Can anyone recommend a good trusted set up parameters to get this to work?

Right now I have it working, but when the radio opens it seems to stuck at a reduced volume. I can't seem to find which parameter is causing this.

Any help appreciated.

The only possibility could be the call beep level. I have mine set at 6. I looked thru both my 820 and 920 and both are set the same. If that does not work, e-mail me a copy of the programmign, I can dump it in my radio and try to finger it out.,

Maybe if you get it to work, It could be a hardware or firmware problem with this radio.
