TKR-720 Odd problem.....
Hello again, folks.... I was handed a TKR-720 for our club today, and I wanted to program it at work since I have access to a KPG-50 there.... Much to my surprise, the KPG-50 won't power up, leading me to believe there is no power at the mic jack. When you turn the repeater on, the power light comes...

TK-830H No audio in from mic, or accessory plug.
Now I am up to only the second eBay dud out of many radios I buy there...... I have a TK-830H That presents with no audio going to RF from the mic, or from the audio in pins on the 15 pin accessory plug. Nothing I can see that looks obvious. Hopefully, it's a logic board..... (because I have a spar...

Re: Kenwood techs in here please..... TK-760G
I do use DOS to program all of my Kenwoods. This is my first 60 series. And if you have a panel, that would be a lifesaver if this A+ thing doesn't work out.

I also meant to say I am trying to program with the computer, not via the front panel.

Yes. I tried turning off the power supply. And can't do any front panel programming. Hopefully I can figure something out. So this is typical of these models? Do you know of a fix?

Re: Kenwood techs in here please..... TK-760G
Crap. Had the part that holds the ribbon cable soldered back on the head, and still the same problem. I Guess the only thing to do now is buy a new head for $120+, and hope that solves the problem.
