Yeah I was thinking Battery with the TK2140, thanks for confirming my suspicion. As for the TK2180 checked KPG89D the latest version KPG89D dont see anything about enabling speaker mic. I recall it did work at one time without any enable as I used it on MURS to talk to the TK2140.

I have TK2180 Full Keypad model. Its a great radio. I use it as my main 2 Meter radio and get compliments on its audio all the time. Its a great radio. Time to get a TK3180 for 440.

Ok its in the zone edit screen. Found the problem it was set to QT/DQT by default, so that explains why it was hearing everyone else. Its now set to QT/DQT And Optional Signalling.
