Re: UT-102 Voice Synthesizer Unit

Tom - not an easy question to answer.
Have you tried calling all the usual ham radio sellers on the web such as HRO, AES, etc, etc?
You may get lucky with one of them - one of them may still have one in stock that got pushed
to the back of a drawer or cabinet.

Historical Perspective-GE M2 vs RCA TT200

I know that in 1986 GE purchased RCA and raped RCA for all its good divisions. If you look at a GE MastrII mobile and an RCA Tactec 200 mobile side by side with the covers off it is clear they are virtually the same radio although they are mirror images of each other. The only part I do not know and...

GE Auxillery Receiver (unknown combo number)

I have a GE Mastr II Auxillery Receiver with a difficult to see combo number - see below It looks like it is 70M08 and the ship date = 9023 which i think is the 23rd week of 1990. This combo number does not come close to anything I have seen before. It is definately a VHF-Hi with a casting number 9D...

Re: Icom IC-2GAT - no Xmit

Sounds like the battery is unable to supply enough current capacity
or if you are using a power supply its not able to handle the load.
Without anymore info that is all i can suggest.

Re: Kenwood Radio Model?

hard to believe there is no info plate on this radio. there is usually one at least in the rear of the transceiver in the heat sink area on one of the outer fins. How about the control head face - is there no model number on that? at the very least take some pics and post them on a yahoo group regar...

Re: Kenwood Radio Model?

Try taking off the top and bottom covers and see if you can find any
identifying numbers. There should be a yahoo group for kenwood so
if you can find any usable info inside the radio try it from that point.
That is about all i can suggest until you find out more.

Re: Totally lost.

2 meter, 10 meter, and 70cm and similar are references to the wave length of the frequency ranges. The wave length would be from the top of one sine wave crest to the top of the next of the frequency range. Any RF energy is a sine wave and actually a form of AC RF energy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...
