VOX??
Anyone know of a commercial LMR that has VOX in it?? Customer wants to put a VOX radio in a crane (using a noise canceling headset)...I am leery about it myself but they don't want to go with PTT operation.

Motorola R2670 VGA connector
Anyone had any success getting the VGA connector on the R2670 to work properly? It IS an output isnt it?? I have tried several monitors and other screens and nothing works and I cannot find a screen to set the output rate, etc. Am I missing something?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Well, I swept the filter with the network analyzer, and while modelling the filter as specified using rfsim99 shows a falloff around 52 mhz. http://will.bartlett.net/midland.jpg Here's a schematic of the filter. http://will.bartlett.net/schematic.jpg the true response on the analyzer looks like it ...

Re: XTR on six meters ?
You must change the programmer to allow freqs above 50MHz to be entered. Look for the CHL file...open it with any TEXT editor...scroll down and find the Band ranges with the upper and lower limits. Change the LOW A range from 42-50 to 42-54 and save the file. NOW the software will accept 50-54 Mhz f...
