Re: any active EFJ users left?
Not much activity on here in a while. One comment I would add is if you drop by a computer repair store, in most cases they will give you computers that the customer didn't want to pay to get it repaired. I have got some nice computers this way. The store I go to pulls the hard drive out and just pu...

Greecom USB Interface SCU-20
I have a Grecom USB cable interface that goes to a Grecom PSR-600 scanner. It has a part number of 30-3290 on the back of it.
Trying to find the software drivers for it that run on a Windows XP compute.
Any help would be a great help.

[quote=W0VNE post_id=16757 time=1516070682 user_id=12016] I said I was a bit of a noob. This is incorrect. I am a total zeroid. "NO PROGRAM" is an indication that the radio doesn't have any channels programmed. So... If you load any code plug into the radio that error message goes away. Du...

Re: 51SJ 5100 Problems
Hi everyone, I have acquired an 51SJ Model 2. It is FPP, but I need to make changes to my ID and such. It is running 4.8.10 FW. Midland STM1050B programming cable
Looking for a diagram to build a programming cable for a Midland STM1050B radio.
I know I have one, but just can't find it among all my stuff I have. Have a 15 x 20 storage area filled with shelving and a small path between everything. Boxes upon boxes and can't find the cable.

Re: any active EFJ users left?
It's been a while since there have been any post here. I am still using both the 5100 and 5300 radios. Have VHF and UHF versions. Not that much UHF activity where I am at, but the VHF activity is doing well. Have the radios set up for both public safety and some ham frequencies. They will do both wi...

Re: trunking on ef johnson 5100
To the best of my knowledge, the software to generate an EFJ systems key has not leaked out of the company. Having been through obtaining a key from EFJ before, it is not that easy. You need to get the form emailed to you. Get the radio systems manager of the system you want to get the key for to si...

Re: 90 series out of band yet?
You have to get into the codeplug and hex edit each TX and RX channel location. You originally program the channel for 43.525 say if your looking to end up with 52.525. You then go in and hex edit the file. I someplace have a text document that gives all the information. Got it off the internet by d...

Re: trunking on ef johnson 5100
Even though you don't want to transmit, the software requires a key to be able to change any of the system settings. If you don't have a trunking system, you still will need to obtain a systems key in order to build the trunking system.
