flash upgrading GE/ERICSSON

Can someone explain what is involved in flash upgrading ericsson/ge
equipment and cost.
I would be interested in upgrading a conventional 800mhz orion
to EDACS.

The flash (operating code) will do both conventional and EDACS. There are many other variables which would have to be satisfied (frequencies, groups, LIDS, etc) but any flash will work - how well for your needs is another matter. Feature code is what tells the radio what it can and cannot do.
