I purchased a lot of TK-780's and some UHF mobile extenders that connected to them through the accessory cable. These were sold as sets so the setups were used on a daily basis. These radios are password protected so I can't read them to see how the com ports are setup so I can reprogram it for my use / resell. Does anyone have any experience in setting this up? I have a working setup but I can't read the radio to see how it's setup. I tried various configuratons with the com ports and when the TK-780 was on, the mobile extender dead keyed. I turned the kenwood off and the extender unkeys. It did work fine beofre I wrote new programming to the TK-780.
Any ideas????
