Can anyone tell me if the kenwood tk-260 is narrow band capable? I know the 260G is.
Thanks,

Thanks,
According to my KPG-27D software, running on DOS on WIndows XP,I am not able to change the radio from wide to narrow band.As far as I can tell, the TK-260 is not narrow band capatible.Thank you.

I don't believe the 260 is narrow band capable. Generally speaking, the G series radios were all narrow band capable while the non-G series were not. This holds true for the TK-730/830, TK-250/350, and the 260/360/760/860 series.

There are probably exceptions, but the G-series were always the narrow band capable units while non-G units were not.
