I should know this, but memory is slippin. I have a 440-470 orion. I know how to get a ranger, MPA, PCS, MDX, to take a 471 rx and 474 tx freq. Is there a "trick" to get an Orion to do slighly out of band?? or is it cut off at 470???
There is a way to hex edit the DOS software to allow this. I am not hexedit savvy, but there might be someone on here who can help. The "ctrl-E" trick does not work with EDACS3 or the Orion/MRK/LPE DOS software.
There is no way to get anything out of band with the Windows ProGrammer, period...
