Kenwood programming?

I hope you have time for a question for a newbie, and I don't get kicked off the board on my first post!

From looking around, it appears that /\/\ sells the RSS for it's radios (legal, as long as it's not sold, etc). Does Kenwood also sell it's RSS?

I'm in the process of purchasing a TK-780, and I know that over the next year, I have several surrounding jurisdictions that are going from VHF-Low to VHF-High, and would like to be able to re-program the radio as these changes occur. I thought that it would be easier to re-program this myself, rather than take it to the radio shop each time. I've looked around this site and Batlabs, and have tried to do some research before I asked!

I don't plan on doing any TX with the radio, except with my department, all the others would be RX only.

Thanks!

Compared to Motorola, Kenwood gives it away!! And they don't seem to care too much about appropriating in other fashions either.

Most RSS is like that BUT "MOTOROLA"

Well now we know what time a dispatcher
has compared to a 30 year radio service tech.

We like to talk about the good DEALS out there.
Others well.
