Here is a question for you kenwood buffs on here. I have a tk 280 with a brand new battery fully charged. I can put the batery on the radio and Tx maybe about 1 min on the low battery lite comes on. Is there a setting with the RSS for this radio that sets a low battery limit? if so where should it be set at. I am Tx'ing on high but these are brand new batteries that this is happing to along with some old batteries as well.

I see the the kenwood tk280 vhf
250 channel potable has battery
problems.We run into a memory problem
with these batteries and they needed
to be conditioned a couple of times
to get them to keep a CHARGE.
