The 60 and 70 series radios use KPG-56D and there is even a windows version out for it now.

you should be able to use KPG 67d if the check sum is correct for the prog.
it is always better to upgrade the firmware to the latest version.
In the uk it is 5TO_13F2.HEX. Check sum is 13F2 (ch this first)
Remember to enable the firmware programing in options \ mode
Change FirmWare to enable and d\load old prog with enabledSWITCH OFF. hold both function buttonsdown & SW on hold buttons till led goes green you have to have FPRO and the HEX file loaded it should be in the 56d or the 67d software and usualy loads automaticaly Check if you have latest HEX could be different for your unit? Go program\firmware prog Follow instructions help =F1
.
We also have had problems getting sets to read\write strange thing, will write ok 4\5 times then wont within a few minutes says ch con \cable .
we find thar switching OFF comp usualy puts it write, wqe have a 386 running DOS 6.22 ONLY and it still screws on occasions. both 56 and 67 are also on Win 95 & 98SE and work out of windows most of time .
soft = 56d Ver2.00 2000
soft= 67d Ver2.11 2003 this may not help but "

Try writing a new program from your latest software,then dump it in.You also could have dirty/intermittant conections on the programming cable.
