Help Re Kenwood programming cable

Post by tracka »

Ok people, Can anybody help

I have a Genuine Kenwood KPG-22 Programming cable from a tk380

now, I want to make a cable for a TK- 830

when I open the plasic off the plug and have a look at the board, There is a 3 pin connector coming from the end and going to the actual programming cable.

There are 3 wires

Black
Red
White

I also have the 6 pin modular plug to plug into the 830

how can i modify this to program the 830 ???

Thanks

Should be easy. K4SQB posted schematics for both but the pictures disappeared. If he can repost them you should be able to figure it out. PL

The pics were back up when I looked at it a little while ago. If they still don't show up for you, give me an email addy, and I'll send them directly to you.
