Standard Horizon HX270S & HX370S

I am interested in finding out more information on the Standard Horizon marine radios that also allow programming of land mobile frequencies. I have identifed the Standard Horizon HX270S & HX370S that are capable of this. Does anyone here have any experience with either of these radios? How well do they perform? It it easy to obtain the programming software? Is it capable of semi duplex (repeater) frequencies?
