Kenwood KMC 18A Microphone

I have a kenwood KMC 18 A microphone that sends a PTT ID every time I key the Mic. It is being sent from the Mic and not programmed into the radio to do this function. Does anyone know how to disable this feature on the Mic? I have searched unsuccessfully for an instruction manual or data for this microphone.

Yes that was a 6 pin autodial DTMF mic....I used to have the instruction sheet.I will see if I can locate it and post back.

I was able to get the manual from kenwood. I called tech support and they emailed it to me no problem. Guess I should have started there. If anyone else needs it let me know I'll send it to you.
