The Radio Information Board

Guys,
I'm over here in Australia where the TK830h is not sold. ive
spoken to 2 kenwood dealers who have said they won't work on the radio
as they dont have access to the service manual.

So, I'm just going to get a mate who is a motorola tech to work on it
so he needs a service manual or know what pots to adjust.

Basically I have a tk830 that is a 450-470 unit but needs to be tuned
to UHF 477mhz (will only be used on 476-477mhz)

I am happy to pay for a electronic version of the svc manual or can
somebody tell me what each pot does.

Ide love to support the dealers but they simply refuse to work on it
so have no option.

If your mate is a radio tech,he should be able to find the rec/tx VCO and the front end preselector tuning without a service manual.
special tune mode will be needed to put in the out of band freqs.
