The Radio Information Board

I have programmed it into the ham band and retuned. The repeat function works fine however operation with the hand mic and local speaker in on a different PL than repeater operation. Did I miss something in the programming? I did not have any instructions with the programmer I just felt my way through.

The TKR-820 was designed to function as a "community" repeater with multiple PL / DPL tone groups without having to use an external controller.

It sounds like you have several tone sets stored in the eeprom on the repeater controller board. You will need to pop it into the socket on the KPT-50 and edit the tones.
