The Radio Information Board

I'm new to portable 2m rigs, I am trying to label the memory I press the F key, then the [0(SET)] key and enter the menu mode, I set the menu to 1 'ALPHA' when I press the f key again to enable changing of menu item I get a double beep and nothing happens, where am I messing up?
Any help appreciated.

I can't give you an answer, but you might want to post this question under the Yaesu (ham) heading too.
I seem to remember a question similar to this a while back... I'm guessing you already have, but if not check the earlier posts on the Vertex and Yaesu boards.
