squelch setting tk 760h

i recent bought a keenwood tk-760h 32 channel and my squelch is not set right. it is alway going and i am wondering if anybody knows how to set the squelch thur the field programming?

If self programming is enabled -
Press the up arrow key when "self" is displayed to enter the "function setting" mode.
Then press the down arrow key to step through the items until "SQL" is displayed. It is item 24, after the TOT items and CTT.
Use the CH up/down arrows to change the setting, default is 5, range is 1-9.

the setting you sent me are for a tk 760g (128 channel) with alphanumeric display, i need for tk 760h (32 channel). it only has numbers in the settings.

I believe that model only allows frequency and PL programming in the self mode. You need the KPG-29D software and KPG-4 cable for the service and function settings.
If the squelch is open constantly, I would suspect there may be a hardware problem with the radio.

the squelch is not open all the time. it just pops in and out.
