The Radio Information Board

Does anyone know if the programming cable for the TK-X80 Series mobiles would also program a Vertex FTL-X011 mobile. Just curious and looking to save money on a new cable if I can. Thanks.

Admittedly, I've never tried it, but I'd say the likely result would be some color of smoke.
